These terms are the agreement between you and Iron Will covering your use of the Iron Will app. Please read section 2 before you start training, and section 4 before you buy anything.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Iron Will on devices you own or control, under the rules of the app store you installed it from. You may not resell the app, rent it out, or attempt to extract its source code.
If you are under 18, use Iron Will only with a parent's or guardian's permission.
This matters more than anything else on this page.
Iron Will records what you lift and shows you patterns in it. It is a logbook, not a medical device and not a coach. Nothing in the app — including suggested weights, rest timers, recovery indicators or personal-record celebrations — is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a training prescription for your particular body.
Talk to a doctor before starting or changing a training programme, especially if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or surgery, managing a heart, joint or blood-pressure condition, or have been inactive for a long time.
Resistance training carries real risk of injury. You decide what to lift and you accept that risk. If something hurts in a way that is not ordinary training fatigue, stop and get it looked at. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number — do not consult an app.
Iron Will has no accounts and no server for your training data. Workouts, body metrics and personal records are written to storage on your device. We cannot read them, recover them for you, or restore them if your device is lost, wiped or damaged. Use your device backup — that is your safety net, not us. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
The core of Iron Will is free. Optional paid plans unlock additional features:
| Plan | Price | Renewal |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $2.99 / month | Renews automatically |
| Yearly | $21.99 / year | Renews automatically |
| Lifetime | $57.99 once | Never renews |
All payments are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details and we have no ability to issue a refund. Refund requests go to the store under its own policy — for Apple, reportaproblem.apple.com. If a store refunds you, access to paid features ends.
We may change prices for future billing periods. Where the store requires your consent to a price rise, your subscription will not renew at the new price until you give it. A price change never affects a lifetime purchase you have already made.
Iron Will is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular fitness result — that depends on your training, your recovery, your nutrition and your genetics, none of which we control.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow that limit, in which case it does not apply to you. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, where the law does not permit exclusion.
You may stop using Iron Will and delete it at any time. We may end this licence if you materially breach these terms. If we do, your locally stored data is unaffected — it is on your device, and it stays there.
If we change these terms materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects what you pay or what we do with your information, surface it in the app. Continuing to use Iron Will after a change means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections you are entitled to under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
Your app store is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for Iron Will. The store is, however, a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Where the store's own terms conflict with these, the store's terms govern the purchase itself.
